THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT BOILER GRANTS

Do you have an old boiler, costly to operate or damaged permanently? Do you have difficulty getting the fund to make your heating and hot water system working? If you are facing any of these issues, you may try getting a free boiler grant. If you are certified under the ECO boiler grant scheme, you may have access to a brand new boiler that will be eco-friendlier. The ECO boiler grant scheme will get you less costly boilers of about £315 for a G-rated boiler. It will even be better for the environment because of the low carbon emissions.

Since 2013 when the ECO boiler grant scheme was established, lots of people have been checking the boiler grants to know when they are qualified for the free boiler grant. In simple terms, if you have certain advantages and meet some requirements, you can access a free boiler grant.

What is a boiler grant?

The government introduced the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) in 2013 as a way to assist some low-income families who do not have the funds to get a heating system for their homes or those who are using old, unstable, or faulty heating boilers.

Does a free boiler grant apply to everyone?

Though the scheme is a free boiler grant, it is crucial to know that, the ECO scheme does not give the grant to cover all the expenses of a new boiler. In some instances, you may have to make up a deficit by paying some of the costs of the new boiler while the ECO scheme covers some other costs. However, these should not prevent you from applying for the boiler grant. The grant can still make you save a considerable amount of money, greatly reduce your estimated heating cost, and increase the efficiency of your home heating system.
